Transmission has a better user interface, handling, stability, etc, BUT uTorrent give me faster downloads. Probably is because DHT. Wish Transmission implement that in future versions.

As of 0.9.0.4 it's looking very promising, but is still quite buggy. I've been playing with it, but if you regularly use BitTorrent then I'd suggest going with something more stable and less quirky for now.

It's working much better now. A bit disappointing that you can't select a download location yet, but removing files and torrents work, as well as throttling download / upload rates. And it does seem to connect to peers and sources a lot faster than Transmission. It's looking promising.

yeah, I'm a bit surprised: even the official page doesn't provide an Alpha version so why is it available here ? Isn't this a bit strange ?

Even if it is a free software, iuseit should respect the official releases instead of providing some alpha/beta version of an unfinished software.

It's promising but not functional enough yet to replace Transmission. This is to be expected since there is no download link on the official website.

Features that seem to work well is queuing, bandwidth allocation and bandwidth limiting. It's also extremely lightweight, as is the point. Features such as Remove All Files (that should remove the torrent and downloaded data) does not work, neither does Remove From List or Remove Data Files. You can remove torrents from the list by clicking the Remove button in the top menu, though.

i love this on the pc, but transmission does the job for me on the mac.

I'm glad to see that this is finally going to be released....
