CDGear is a tool for handling MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 file formats. It transforms a variety of file formats into others. For example, conversions between .bin, .cif, .cue, .dat, .mpg, .nrg, .raw and .sdf are possible. VCDGear can extract MPEG streams from cd images, convert vcd data files to MPEG and correct MPEG errors. It does not encode or decode MPEGs!! Only file conversion is done, no encoding or decoding.
