If you are running iTunes 9.1, it's necessary for Cinch to ignore iTunes to prevent iTunes from crashing. This is a bug in iTunes which Apple is aware of and needs to fix. (Apple Discussion Thread)

If you are running a version of iTunes prior to 9.1, you are best off staying with Cinch 1.0.1 for the time being.
