ControllerMate v4.2 adds 11 new building blocks: Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Remainder, Comparison, Delta (Number), Application, Controller, Random Number, Accumulator, and Strobe. The Counter building now has an initial/reset value that is separate from its minimum and maximum count values. The Cursor building block may now be configured to move the cursor to a location based on the front window's position. The Range, Value Selector, and Pulse building blocks contain changes to make them more useful with scroll wheels.

Starting with ControllerMate v4.2, Controller Configurations may now be assigned to application-specific groups. This makes it possible to have different keyboard configurations or mouse curves based on the currently active application. Controller Configurations may now disable a mouse's pointer or scrolling axes.
