Dapplegrey
- Version 3.4.5 | Release Date: 2013-05-05 | Download
If the subfolder of the game folder is attempted to be mounted as drive C:, the mount point of drive C: will be set correct again. This sub routine has been rewritten completely.
If the user added games to the "User's Games" list before (which is the case, usually), the category "User's Games" will be displayed at start now.
Drag & Drop of DOS applications now uses the keyboardlayout set in the Dapplegrey Preferences Window, before the game will be executed (previously, the keyboardlayout has been set after executing the game, unfortunately).
- Version 3.4.4 | Release Date: 2013-04-07 | Download
Advanced CPU settings has been fixed. Previously, unfortunately the sub routine to Reset the Values given by the user restored the values every time the 'Advanced CPU settings' window has been opened. Thus, the ability to reset the values of 'Advanced CPU settings' has been removed.
If resetting the CPU core, the correct window area will be displayed now. Previously, only the toolbar item has been resetted, but not the shown window content itself.
The Dapplegrey Toolbox entries now allows to set a custom CPU cycles value as well.- Version 3.4.3 | Release Date: 2013-03-27 | Download
When attempt to mount a folder as CD-ROM drive D: itself, this is working again.

When editing the freesize parameter of drive C: for 'Games Included' entries, the path to drive C: will be displayed correctly now.- Version 3.4.2 | Release Date: 2013-02-27 | Download

- Version 3.4.1 | Release Date: 2013-02-24 | Download
When attempt to add a hard disk drive D:, the subroutine in Dapplegrey that checks for an emulated CD in drive D: first, is working now. If drive D: has been set for both CD and hard disk drive accidentally before, the hard disk drive will be ejected automatically.
Also, the Imgmount feature checks for number of CDs before filling the list now (this will prevent a crash if Dapplegrey 3.4.1 will be accidentally fed with a newer list of your DOS games, when Dapplegrey with an updated CD-ROM handling will be published.- Version 3.4 | Release Date: 2013-02-17 | Download
When dragging an object onto Dapplegrey to run DOSBox with, DOSBox should now use the preferred Keyboard layout.
Dragging a CD image onto Dapplegrey, Dapplegrey no longer offers to boot DOSBox with (only supported with floppy images and hard disk drive images).- Version 3.3.1 | Release Date: 2013-01-27 | Download
When selecting DBGL as DOSBox source, Dapplegrey should no longer display a NilObject message box.
- Version 3.3 | Release Date: 2013-01-12 | Download
Mounting CD images set by folder should work now. Due to unknown reasons, the Uniform Type Identifier used in Dapplegrey ("public.iso-image") still doesn't work correctly to recognize such images. Required to re-design the source code by using appropriate file extensions, and so it only recognizes CD image file extensions Dapplegrey is aware of so far.
Still doesn't filter this file type when adding a single cdr image, when displaying the file selection dialog box (using this Dialog window, all files are selectable, even if their file type is not a CD image) .When an user of Dapplegrey added a folder to the CD Drive listing before (to let DOSBox mount all CD images located within), may require the user to re-select this folder again to fix things.
Other minor fixings has been done as well.

- Version 3.0.3 | Release Date: 2012-09-22 | Download
The Dapplegrey developer thought, in 3.0.1 he wrote: "Mounting issues in the areas 'Games Included' and 'Dapplegrey Toolbox' entries has been fixed. If they has not been mounted correctly before, they should be mounted correctly now.", but this was wrong.
- Version 3.0.2 | Release Date: 2012-09-21 | Download
There is a new official DOSBox version available, especially created for Mac OS X, which is still Universal Binary. In the DOSBox VOGONS forums, Dominus wrote:
"If you have downloaded dosbox 0.74 some time ago, please download it again as the OSX version was updated just over a week ago. On OS X 10.7 and above it crashed on going fullscreen because of an incompatibility of SDL with those OS X versions. Now that dosbox is compiled with a newer version of SDL it runs ok. If you use output=opengl it should be fine, too."
As usual, you can download the newest version at the official DOSBox site. This version, recognized as 0.74-1, is codesigned for Mt. Lion now.
If Dapplegrey 3.0.2 recognizes this newly compiled version, Dapplegrey will no longer ask whether the user wants to be warned against fullscreen setting again.
Plus, Dapplegrey will read its own preferences correctly now. This has been detected while the author of Dapplegrey checked DOSBox 0.74-1.- Version 3.0.1 | Release Date: 2012-09-09 | Download
Version 3.0 was not ready to delete files created by version 2.36 and earlier, but asked the user whether to do so. Since the developer of Dapplegrey switched to Mac OS X 10.8 Mt. Lion now, he confirmed that the files created by 3.x are written to hard disk drive successfully, Dapplegrey 3.0.1 will delete older files automatically now.
For the Readme files to be listed in the "Drives/Hard Disk C:" section, the obscure file extension ".rst" and ".dme" has been added. Fle names like "Readmefi.rst" and some "*rea.dme" files will also be listed now.
Mounting issues in the areas 'Games Included' and 'Dapplegrey Toolbox' entries has been fixed. If they has not been mounted correctly before, they should be mounted correctly now.
One of the icon pictures used as application icon was blurred before.- Version 3.0 | Release Date: 2012-08-12 | Download
This version provides a new GUI, but it introduces some problems: Importing pathes to disc images is broken. Plus, there is an un-resolved problem with assigning multiple number of disc images to a drive letter, which worked before. If you've set some Dapplegrey game profiles to use disc images, you have to re-connect them to the emulated drives now. In the Mac Finder, it's recommended to sort the disc images per emulated drive into separate folders. When attempting to add a multiple number of disc images to a drive letter, simply select the folder, and Dapplegrey will DOSBox let mount all the disc images inside. Dapplegrey now offers up to 3 CD-ROM drive letters native.
If you're using Mac OS X 10.8 Mt. Lion as Operating system, you may have to hold down the 'ctrl' key while starting Dapplegrey the very first time.
