Version 3.0 just released. The latest update features improved editing and image export capabilities, and offers 12 different language localizations. The software includes tools for everyday image resizing, rotation, cropping, sizing, and more. The update also offers support for SFTP within a streamlined user interface, and includes graphical watermarks as well as new font controls for text watermarks. ImageWell 3 features layering and transparency controls for images and draw objects, as well as drop shadow controls. ImageWell 3 is available free, and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

Great for resizing images or labeling screen shots.

A paid update called Xtras is available to upgrade this free editor. The Xtras adds batch mode, templates, more draw objects, gradients, mulitple images on the canvas and canvas sizing and gradient controls.
