  • TaskCard now uses the Sparkle framework (http://sparkle.andymatuschak.org) for updates which is a more robust and reliable system then the one I made myself.
  • The activation key field in preferences now shows all key-combinations and lets you clear the field (instead of being forced to choose a key).
  • Fixed: Bug that would cause the activation key field to not reset the previous combination which caused TaskCard to have multiple hot keys simultaneously.

  • TaskCard finally has functional multiple display support which allows you to choose the display you want the TaskCard window to appear in from a list (see "Multiple Displays..." in the File menu).
  • Cards can choose to hide completed tasks by selecting the item in the Card menu. This setting will affect each card individually.
  • Task containers will now show the number of overdue sub-tasks when closed by displaying a label next to the text.
  • QuickLook was disabled shortly after being introduced in 1.4 due to a bug but is now available again on Macs running 10.6 and higher.
  • There is a new "Duplicate Card" item in the Edit menu.
  • Tab and option-Tab now indents and decreases the indent of the selected task. To edit a tasks text you can still press the enter key, "e", command-return or double-click.
  • Fixed a long standing performance issue (since version 1!) which was the reason selecting tasks was sluggish.
  • In the preferences you can define a "Sheet Offset" which is the number of pixels the sheet browser will be offset from the edge of the screen depending on its location (to avoid blocking other applications floating windows).

  • The location of the sheet browser can be changed in the preferences.
  • The close sheet button which hovers over the thumbnail image has been temporarily removed due to a bug which can't be resolved. Until it's fixed you can contextual-click on the sheet image and choose "Move to Trash" to delete it.

  • Fixed a bug that would cause overdue tasks to crash if the font Verdana Bold was deleted or disabled.
