to me is one of the best RSS readers on every platform .... now if it only could use the gekco engine instead of webkit i'd die as an happy man :-)

To me, this is the best priced (free), cleanest, and best RSS reader on the Mac.

This is fantastic. I've tried newsreaders in the past and kept going back to the browser, but I'm sticking with Vienna. Fantastic.

I'd bought and been using NNW for ages - until they required me to sign up for an account with NewsGator just to continue using software I'd already bought. So I switched to Vienna, which is a little buggy at times but otherwise great. A worthy and less evil replacement.

Just goes to show it doesn't matter how great your product is if you act like an ass you'll lose customers.

great software, and free. has everything you need in a reader. also, I've noticed that when you click on the link for a site's RSS feed, it will read "add in NetNewsWire," and you can click on it and automatically add it to Vienna

The best David to beat all those shareware Goliaths

This beats the other "big name" RSS readers hands down, no competition. The best feature, IMHO, is that it supports Smart Folders which allow me to keep betetr track of what I have and haven't read.

This is the first RSS reader that I downloaded and installed on my Mac, and I see no reason to use anything else. It's fast, handles all of my feeds with no hiccups, and never gives me any hassles.

Love it, imported my NetNewsWire OPML file without a hiccup. Best of all, it's open source!

It is very nice but it lacks a "small" feature I've found in NNW: the TextMate RSS feed has a link to the latest build for download and Vienna doesn't show it so I have to run NNW to get it... Great app anyway.
