Wakoopa allows you to share your software usage and your opinions about software. Just invite your friends to view your profile, or put a widget on your own site.
If you still don't know what anti-virus program to use, or what games to play, then just look in our database. We know what the cool kids use! Browse by tag or category, it's all there.

No longer quitting, after a reboot and deciding to leave the icon in the dock (annoying, but hey, it works.)
Me, I love the idea of tracking how much use each of my many programs gets. It was pretty fun for the twelve hours before it started quitting on me like for zeberman.
Tried it for a couple days, but I can't see the point of tracking how much I use my applications. I'd rather just keep a list of what programs I use, and iusethis works quite well for me.
Kinda icky interface, from the front screen...
I'll stick with this site. Wakoopa looks like XFire for apps in general, but without all the nice-ness.
Wakoopa doesn't seem to be a Mac-only community and I don't even know how to focus in on the Mac apps (are there any at all?) and I find the name to be too weird to be taken serious. Except for that, who knows, I might have to take back everything I just said.
For all I know, iusethis is just fine for my needs to stay in the loop of new apps. And if that ain't enough, I still have my MacUpdate Desktop (albeit crappy) app to inform me of updates of my installed apps.
nice idea. Except it doesn't work! I start it up and it just quits!
I don't really consider Wakoopa a copycat of iusethis, and I'm happy to have it listed here. :)
Isn't it rude to introduce a copycat in its original platform?
