wClock is a menu bar clock with date, time & calendar.

wClock displays the time and date in the menu bar and provides convenient one-click access to a monthly calendar. The format, font, and color of the menu-bar display and the starting day of the week in the calendar are fully configurable.

Personally, I was only using the app to add the full date to the menu bar [example: Sun, Jun 26, 2011 3:00 AM]

Since wClock is PowerPC-only, and the upcoming Lion OS will kill off PPC support, I found a System Preferences workaround without using an app:

Obviously ood / abandoned (not updated since 2003). Download still available here: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/13297/wclock . Works under 10.6.0 for me.

However, there are almost a dozen alternatives with more functionality out there, e.g. MenuCalendarClock, MagiCal, iClock Pro, tinycal, MyMenuDate, iStat Menus... just look here:

The mirror link doesn't work neither, any other link?

Until the Wolfware site comes back, here's an unofficial mirror of the install file:

Great enhancement to the menu bar. Does what it needs to. Stable and useful!
