This is such a POS. Another half hearted attempt to give mac users the ability to view WMV content that should have been encoded into flash or QT in the first place!

I'm fairly certain, that Windows Media is here to steal christmas from Baby Jesus!

Down with Windows Media... please.. oh please!!!

I'll use this once in a blue moon, usually when Flip4Mac isn't ready for a feature.

I've got a beta of the Universal version of Flip4Mac. I can't for the life of me find it on their site now, so it might have been a limited beta. Works a treat, and far better than Windows Media Player EVER did. I just wish I could tell you where to download it.

This thing hasn't been updated in almost 3 years. I agree the Flip4Mac is a more reliable player; hopefully the intel mac version will be available soon.

i installed this. it was buggy and wouldn't play much of anything. it wouldn't play npr.org files nor xmradio.com. then i downloaded the flip4mac universal beta and it played everything. so i uninstalled WMP 9...

FYI, you may also want to consider Flip4Mac as an alternative to this (as suggested by Microsoft):
