This is such a POS. Another half hearted attempt to give mac users the ability to view WMV content that should have been encoded into flash or QT in the first place!

I'm fairly certain, that Windows Media is here to steal christmas from Baby Jesus!

Down with Windows Media... please.. oh please!!!

used infrequently....for those internet video streams (.wvx .wmv) that won't otherwise play on flip4mac or vlc

I'll use this once in a blue moon, usually when Flip4Mac isn't ready for a feature.

FLip is not available for intels and i still won't download this. Worst program for the mac i have ever seen. and that's a lot of programs

Dodgy. Get flip4mac.

This thing hasn't been updated in almost 3 years. I agree the Flip4Mac is a more reliable player; hopefully the intel mac version will be available soon.

i installed this. it was buggy and wouldn't play much of anything. it wouldn't play files nor then i downloaded the flip4mac universal beta and it played everything. so i uninstalled WMP 9...

FYI, you may also want to consider Flip4Mac as an alternative to this (as suggested by Microsoft):
