Xcode is Apple Computer's integrated development environment for Mac OS X. It includes all the tools you need to create, debug, and optimize your own Universal applications, targeting both Intel and PowerPC platforms. At the heart of Xcode is a graphical workbench that tightly integrates a syntax-highlighting text editor, a robust build control system, a debugger, and the powerful GCC compiler capable of targeting both Intel and PowerPC regardless of host platform.

Does this work on leopard?

Wrong VERSION number! Current version is v3.2.2 NOT v3.3.2

I always thought the autocompletion was awful. Especially when I tried doing some java (to integrate it in my app thanks to the excellent Java Bridge).

Just wish there was an easier way to update the software - downloading a 900MB+ .dmg every time it needs updating is somewhat of a pain.

You could always use Interface Builder to create the UI elements along with Codewarrior. IB is part of the devtools as a whole, not specifically a component of XCode. The new XCode for Leopard is looking quite promising (and so is IB for that matter)

Personally, I find Xcode much better than CodeWarrior, especially for its better window management, where two files can be opened in the same window. And there is no equivalent of Interface Builder for CW. The fact that .mcp files are binary makes them a pain to use in a versioning system.

I'd love it if XCode got code folding. That would make me very happy.

Not as intuitive or feature rich as CodeWarrior nor is it as fast - it also doesn't produce code as well (thanks to gcc)... But, it's the only game in town to develop Universal Binaries. Metrowerks are kicking themselves for selling off their Intel support.
