XScreenSaver is the standard screen saver collection shipped on most Linux and Unix systems running the X11 Window System. I released the first version in 1992. In 2006, it was ported to MacOS X 10.4. (note: does not work on earlier versions). On MacOS systems, these screen savers work with the usual MacOS screen saving framework (X11 is not required).

i Love the dsod screensaver. It dieplsys all of the erros screen including the bluse screen of death from the daays of windows tyrany!

There is a significant amount of chaff in this collection to sort through, but there are some good choices within XScreenSaver.
