YourSQL is a minimalistic app which is really useful for viewing the data inside a MySQL database. You can also make limited changes to the schema through the GUI. I find it quicker than CocoaMySQL for simple tasks, and prefer the GUI.

This app does not work on Snow Leopard and does not look like it ever will. I've switched to which is nicer and an active open source project.

gave up on this app in favor of sequel pro and querious

Well, so much for YourSQL. Out the f$*#ing blue, I now get "No Document Can Be Created" errors whenever I start the app up. It was working fine yesterday.

I deleted all YourSQL Files from my Library Folder and tried reinstalling it. No luck. Same error.

If anyone can help me with this problem, please email me at [email protected]

Great interface. Extremely buggy and slow, but for simple MySQL tables and project, its the first application I open.

It doesn't work for me. I'm running MySQL 5 on a G5 and the application crashes or locks up after just a few clicks. It won't even show the table design of certain databases. Horrible.

I much prefer YourSQL over CocoaMySQL. I could never get YourSQL to work on an Intel Mac until some people started porting their own Universal Binaries. You can google around for Universal versions that work fine. Here's one link:

This is a really nice, clean little app. I find CocoaMySQL really fiddly and slow, so YourSQL came as a very pleasant surprise. Recommended.
