Allows users of Mac OS to work with the 'Edit with external application' links that are offered by some Plone/Zope servers.
The 'external edition' approach is particularly useful for Microsoft Office files. (Excel, PowerPoint and Word 2004 are otherwise hopelessly incompatible with WebDAV servers.)
