A few months ago, I started out on a quest to find and start using the best Mac genealogy software to get myself and my genealogical research organized. I tried Reunion, MacFamily Tree and GEDitCOM, but finally decided on Heredis. It has by far the easiest and most intuitive interface as well as a pretty well implemented OS X UI. GEDitCOM and Reunion just don't cut it in this regard. MFT is actually a pretty decent app as well and it's developer has done a good job implemented a nice OS Xish UI, but in the end, Heredis won hands down.
Get Heredis, you won't be sorry you did.
