If you are used to using programs such as Total Commander, Midnight Commander, Krusader, etc. you will definitely want this program on your Mac - it may lack just a few of the "extras" of some of those other programs (e.g. the built-in multi-file batch renamer of Total Commander) but there is other free Mac software that will perform such functions, and muCommander contains everything you really need in this type of program. Minor nit: I do wish they'd come up with a nicer icon - the one they have in this version would be more at home on an Apple II or Commodore 64 (of course that is easy enough to replace with an icon of your choosing).
