I'm with rolfaster, great for editing out commercials.
I just did a dirty test to see if it would handle editing m4v videos; surprisingly it does a great job. I'm going to be using this to edit commercials from my eyetv recordings
I know that eyetv has a built in way to do this, but i have eyetv set to transcode to iPod right after recording (usually so i can let it run over night i have a super slow computer doing the legwork for it) and now i can edit the transcoded files! stoked.
