I really like NetNewsWire and it's a great "feature" to be able to sync with Google Reader. In the latest ver. 3.2b14 I don't see ads on the left side anymore, and we get frequent updates nowadays (so it's not like GMail's beta state :) )

I hope we'll get all the GReader's feaures soon, especially the Shared items (maybe Clippings could be that).
