IMHO, most users will never need Adobe Reader in their Macs. OS X's own "Preview" shows PDFs better and faster than Adobe Reader and it allows to sort, delete, merge and rotate pages. The only reason I can think to install Adobe Reader in a Mac is if you need to open some sophisticated PDF with CAD designs, geospatial maps or embedded Flash.
