All I can say is... thank god I have an old version of Lingon that was free and works perfectly. I'm sorry, I realize that it's hard to make a living as a developer, but with such a simple tool that was freeware for so long, suddenly putting on the Mac AppStore costing money is ridiculous. This program is an absolute requirement for every computer I own, it's such a core utility since I like to very delicately tune my systems and know what is running at all times. If the developer wanted to make a "premium" version for the app store, go ahead and do that, make it "easier-to-use" and "moron-proof" and charge for that. But leave the hardcore version of the app totally free for us super-nerds that come to rely on it.
