It's true that Launchd Editor has a slightly less clunky interface, but it's much less functional than Lingon. And Lingon's interface isn't sooooo bad.
Launchd Editor would be much better if it supported the sort of high-level viewing of agents/daemons, both in user and system directories. But at this point I think I would suggest instead just working on Lingon instead. You could always package it with a polished up UI and continue to charge for it.
