@danishkirel: the application is CoreImage powered. If your iBook's graphic card is not CoreImage enabled (what I believe), all the work will be done by your CPU instead of relying to your GPU, hence the slow… Too bad, cause it use to be snappy on a recent graphic card…

DrawIt is worth checking out. They've skipped the usual Photoshop-clone UI and come up with something more intuitive.

The best transitions I've ever seen in a slide show. Very slick. Needs a random mode though.

Would make an incredible screen saver. To facilitate that all it needs is to boot straight into slideshow mode when it is booted with the /s parameter (c:\windows\system32\presenter.scr /s). I wish the developer would make that simple change. I suggested it to him in the past. He sounded like he wanted to make it work on Mac first. Not sure why ... it's an easy change:
if 1%=="/s" then begin Slideshow.

Nope. Runs on just about everything.

Doesn't work for me. No options, didn't do anything.

All I can get out of this thing is "could not start java app"...

make sure you have Java version 1.5 installed, re-install it from here if you're not sure

Ugly as hell, just like all those cross-platform Java apps...but it gets the job done...

updated the mac installer, had errors for fresh installs. if you get a java ouf of memory error when starting ted, please download ted again. sorry :)

Check out TVShows instead. Nicer interface, works well.

Why was purcell's comment penalised with negative ratings? You can't deny TVShows is simpler and better, and also unobstrusive, Dock and menubar-wise.

ted has built-in information about all the tv shows, gives feedback about what is happening while he is searching for new episodes, shows why no episodes are found and supports multiple torrent websites. All things that TVShows does not have.

This app rocks! Don't give up on it. I had problems at first adding a custom show. Use the forums to get help. It works and it's the best episode torrent downloader available.
