Oh man, I love Butler. I just set that up. Thanks for the idea.

This is the only way I've found (well, except for a bash script that I wrote) to search WordPerfect for Windows files on OS X. You need to click the light switch in the lower L of the EasyFind window to get a drawer to slide out with lists of file extensions, then add the .wpd file extension. After that it works brilliantly.

Am I the only one who finds this app rather sluggish and crash-prone? I use it when i need to because I can't find anything better for free, but it's hardly an app I enjoy using.

brian, i do find it takes quite a while to load. otherwise i do use it very frequently and have never had it crash. the interface is also put together very nicely and it fits in with the os x gui just like a good cocoa app should.

I don't have any problems with load time or stability, and I think its pretty great for a free app, however, IMHO Transmit from Panic is worth shelling out for.

Still, if you don't use it a ridiculously large amount, Cyberduck certainly gets the job done.

I've used this program without issue for about 5 months but suddently it's constantly giving me "failed connection" errors whilst command line FTP works fine.

Is there a way to move a file from a remote folder to a local folder in one step? I tried dragging and cutting a file, but it didn't work.

This is getting progressively slower and less reliable (for me) with every version. Shame, as its the only Mac FTP client with a reasonable interface (at least until Flow is released).

I moved to MacFusion. That one covers my (S)FTP needs better than Cyberduck.

One of the best ftp clients ive used, the interface is intuitive and easy to use.

It works perfectly, it has a great interface ......... and it's free. The only thing I don't like about this app is that it's Icon is not 512X512 for Leopard. So I made a periodic table icon for it (like the CS3 ones). Is there any way I can upload it on iusethis???¿¿¿

It used to work, but now it's getting slower and slower and gives lot of timeout problems other clients don't have.

Probably this is a problem that is going to be solved, but by now I'm forced to look for other clients.

My last experiences with Cyberduck were quite frustrating (timeout problems, huge load of RAM), but now I must admit the new version (cyberduck 3 3966) works like a charm.

I want to like Cyberduck but it doesn't quite work that well for me. It seems to take forever to get the directory list from my server (served via Cerebus) when Transmit does not. Also it just seems slower connection wise as well. For example, if I am download multiple files in succession there is a far greater pause between files with Cyberduck. It might be that Cerebus likes Transmit better for some reason though.

I used to love it, but now I'm having to buy Transmit instead. Cyberduck crashes constantly these days which is really inconvenient when i have several files open for editing. Also, if it fails while uploading a file, I end up with an empty file on the server. Yikes!

Works great for me. I use it almost daily. I use it with Smultron and CSSEdit. Never crashes. At this point I can't see why I would pay for an FTP program.

I use this at work (where I don't have an AppZapper license) and it seems to work well enough, but the visuals are obnoxious as hell. There seems to be no preference to turn them off.

i wouldn't call the interface obnoxious. maybe a little needlessly flashy! I suppose some people might like that.

Its just a 3d spinning cude that spins/changes sides one you click an option... a drag and drop interface as you'd expect but also has a list of all apps, widgets and plugins found on the system too.

Sure it might miss out the odd file but i suppose without a decent test know one will know which is the better this appzapper or appdelete! any one willing to give it a go

i have been using the leopard beta of appcleaner and aside from two apparent bugs; one which seems to prevent it from displaying widgets in the widgets panel and the other, which is that the history window is non-functional, i have to say that the rest of the application's features work fantastically.
