Comment and replies on Joost Beta:
The real version number is 0.10.1, NOT Friends Edition, Please correct
Sigh. My original list of channels that I selected got deleted. Again. And once again I have to take out all of the stuff I don't want and resubscribe to the stuff I did want...
Nice interface, but not nearly enough content. I use Miro (formerly Democracy) now instead.
There's no need for invitations any more to download and install Joost.
Just go to Joost's website and download it.
Joost has got too many pop ups ads now, it's was a favorite application of mine, I have now deleted it. :-(
Any appeal that Joost once had is lost now that Hulu.com is available.

Maybe so, if you're an american citizen. Currently, Hulu doesn't stream to users outside the USA.
Not good. Usually crappy channels and also few of them. Quality of streaming is good, but not that good. Not to mention lots of ads. No, I had to delete it. It had nothing for me.
Comment and replies on Yep:
I love this app. I have hundreds of academic journal articles on my Mac, and Yep enables me to find and use them effectively - previously I used Spotlight. Best feature? Auto-tagging.
The description should be updated to reflect the actual name of the product, the "kip" references are confusing.
While this is incredibly useful, be very, very careful when using this app. For no apparent reason, it dumped 641 of my PDFs, which I spent months gathering and organizing, into the trash, with no warning at all, even though I did set it to warn me before moving files to the trash.
Very, very useful. Especially for anyone who has a lot of journal articles and other research documents in pdf format. I am in the process of scanning 15+ years worth of paper articles that had previously languished uncatalogued (more or less) in filing cabinets. Once digitised and tagged within Yep they are infinitely more useful to me. Using tags I can actually retrieve and refer to articles that previously I might have forgotten I had.
For all those using this for academic software it may be best to try Papers. It provides a much cleaner way of storing PDFs and makes things much easier to find in terms of science. Plus it has a whole bunch of other advantages.

This may just be the answer I've been after for receipts though...
Sort and store / tag your PDF's as well as putting a button on Safari alowing you to take full web page shots and then storing them to your pdf library ! simple to use .
I Love this 1 big time
Comment and replies on Tasty:
Is cool, but would really benefit from a dropbox, services menu or tab. At the moment the app is, by definition, behind the browser, making d+d difficult. Also doesn't seem to learn my tags.
Maybe I'm dense, but I can't see any method for editing bookmarks in this app. All it allows you to do is add new bookmarks (without any tagging assistance) and click on existing bookmarks (which are incomplete, sorted chronologically and has no search facility). Rather underwhelming in my opinion.
