Still doesn't support Unicode, causing a lot of encoding errors.

Tried this recently and didn't like it. I found it only copies names and phone numbers: no email addresses, geographic address or other data. I prefer Address Book to CSV Exporter. That is a more polished application that exports more detail from Apple's Address Book.

If instead of the default closing button on mouse over the designed one could be used, that would be perfect.

Hi chrisj,
yours is a common wish and I would love to implement it as soon as possible. However, I can not do so because WebKit based styles such as this can not control even the location of the close box (it is always in the top left corner. There is good news though, the Growl team want the same as you so they have a ticket and plan to release a fix for Growl 1.2 (http://trac.growl.info/ticket/677), an update to GrowlHUD should follow shortly thereafter.

I love it. Excellent launcher app. Since 10.5 also has excellent extra features like calculator, dictionary lookup etc.

Agree. Keyboard shortcuts for various modes (tint, monochrome, invert) would be handy. Or Quicksilver triggers, mmm…

'Tis good. Those window drop-glows are gone at last! Good to see I wasn't the only one using their Mac in dark mode as a habit.

Bitnix: Nocturne switches modes on launch, so you can set up a Quicksilver trigger to launch Nocturne, and each time you invoke it, it toggles between day and night mode.

This is awesome. I could never understand why is everything on the computers white-based. Documents, websites, everything. And now I found Nocturne, and turning it on is like a massage after a hard day:) At last my brain does not burn out from the brightness of the white screens. Of course, display brightness can be lowered, but it is uncomparable to what Nocturne does.

I love Nocturne, it allows me to make my screen dim enough to use in the middle of the night without inverting or removing colors.

Tip: in preferences, uncheck "invert", uncheck "monochrome", set the white "color filter" to a darker color than white (also set brightness to minimum if you're on a notebook, to conserve battery.

Terrific idea! I tend to use my computer right before I go to bed. Studies have shown that, just like sunlight in the morning, working at a bright screen at bedtime can interrupt your body's production of melatonin; it's like sitting in front of a light therapy box. I had been using my monitor's brightness and contrast controls, but they're a PITA, and the default color scheme is hard to see on a dim screen.

Nocturne to the rescue: Not only is it nice and dim, but the color scheme reminds me that I'm in "bed" mode, not "surf" mode. It's a great psychological cue. As for keyboard shortcuts, QuicKeys etc. make a nice workaround.

It does the job perfectly.

I would like to see an Universal Binary build, and maybe Camino support in the future.

No matter what it just reports "Baywatch can't find an ebay auction in your front most browser window". :(

Really nice application.

Download link adds automatically unnecessary .bz2 suffix to the dmg image file.

Newer versions complain about Safari's extensions (like SIMBL plugins, I suppose) and crash. I wonder if there's a way not to load and just ignore them at WebKit's start?

Beh. All my sites look wierd in WebKit/Safari even though they are standards-compliant.

It fixed all my problems with Safari and memory leaks, this one is rock-solid
