I would just like to append to my previous comment. At some point during the day today the application was updated and now all of my audio issues have been resolved entirely.

I wholeheartedly recommend keeping an eye on this app. As of this moment all of my screen capture needs seem to be met.

Great app!

So far, this app has really changed the way I screencast. The simple, yet powerful, actions system is great for a variety of tasks (e.g. fades, motion). It solves my problem of needing to capture my entire screen with periodic zooming on important content. I now just start recording and later add callouts to highlight everything. Recommended highly!

Fantastic application.
I have tried the demo today, it works perfectly even on my little MacBoox with 1Gb of RAM, no slow-downs at all.

It is a superb application and I highly recommend it, will buy a license very soon!

The only thing that I see missing in this fantastic software is the ability to add text to the screencast. Besides that, it is perfect

been using since it came out and it rocks. It would rock so much more if it had basic title, text and annotation support.

This app is so awesome! This is the best screenrecord app. It's very flixeble and has a little video editor on board.

The dev gives quick responce to email. Highly recommend.

i use jing. Its free and brilliant. Very lightweight as well.... try it out...

To bob1601, Jing is a nifty little app, but ScreenFlow is a totally different animal. Jing has a 5-minute limit and no editing. ScreenFlow has a great editing timeline and all kinds of amazing zoom, mouse hilighting, and other features that make it a good choice for more professional results. I had a few crashes (a couple of versions ago) when I tried it, but it's the best thing around for easily making a great looking screencast.

Comment and replies on Growl:

Love it, but I need real Mail.app support - and not just a hack that works for some and not for others. One of the main draws for this application for me was mail notification, and without it, I just don't get the main function from Growl that I need.

Here's to hoping that it gets working soon.

Oh - and it doesn't help that the site is down. ___

All links to Growl are returning 404's?

The Growl project has hosting issues at the moment.

The dog's boll*cks, the bee's knees, the cream of the crop. So useful it's hardly imaginable to live without. I love it. This + growlcamino = perfection.

Note: example scripts are in the version .7.6 dmg, but not in the 1.1.2 dmg.
These scripts can be useful to monitor a folder, have a notification from Salling Clicker, etc.

Just got Growl along with Shimo, but now I can't get the extras b/c the growl.info site is down -- apparently it's been down a lot the last month or so :(

I loved Growl but finally had to nuke it a few days ago. It worked great in Tiger but was nothing but a pain in the butt with Leopard. Growlmail never working was the nail in the coffin as this was my favorite use of Growl.

Is there a way to lower the volume of iTunes while playing the sound for a notification?
Minuteur does that, and it's quite useful. :)

Does someone know how to log notifications?
I'd like to log status changes from adium, like this adium plugin seems to be doing.
