So far it seems very fast and responsive - however I am running into the problem of it not capturing any audio for me whatsoever. I installed the driver and played with all of the settings and still have no luck.
Aside from this, everything else seems great. The audio bug seriously handicaps it for me however.
I would just like to append to my previous comment. At some point during the day today the application was updated and now all of my audio issues have been resolved entirely.
I wholeheartedly recommend keeping an eye on this app. As of this moment all of my screen capture needs seem to be met.
Great app!
So far, this app has really changed the way I screencast. The simple, yet powerful, actions system is great for a variety of tasks (e.g. fades, motion). It solves my problem of needing to capture my entire screen with periodic zooming on important content. I now just start recording and later add callouts to highlight everything. Recommended highly!
Fantastic application.
I have tried the demo today, it works perfectly even on my little MacBoox with 1Gb of RAM, no slow-downs at all.
It is a superb application and I highly recommend it, will buy a license very soon!
Best screen capturing app hands down.
Wow.
The only thing that I see missing in this fantastic software is the ability to add text to the screencast. Besides that, it is perfect
been using since it came out and it rocks. It would rock so much more if it had basic title, text and annotation support.
This app is so awesome! This is the best screenrecord app. It's very flixeble and has a little video editor on board.
The dev gives quick responce to email. Highly recommend.
i use jing. Its free and brilliant. Very lightweight as well.... try it out...
To bob1601, Jing is a nifty little app, but ScreenFlow is a totally different animal. Jing has a 5-minute limit and no editing. ScreenFlow has a great editing timeline and all kinds of amazing zoom, mouse hilighting, and other features that make it a good choice for more professional results. I had a few crashes (a couple of versions ago) when I tried it, but it's the best thing around for easily making a great looking screencast.

I've been looking for something like this for quite a while. I miss having Gspot from my Windows box.
this is a very handy program to have around for anyone who regularly encodes or transcodes video or audio. for instance, amongst many other potential uses, if i am working with avidemux and specifying the target size for a video i am transcoding to xvid, i can use this program to find out exactly how large the video and audio streams are, respectively, thereby enabling me to specify an exact & proper target size for the video stream and a proper encoding scheme for the audio stream to reach the target size without compromising too much on quality. kudos do the developer.
p.s. i submitted an icon for this application a while back, someone should put it up.

YAY! New version has Sparkle! Many thanks to the dev :)
With risk for repetition. Here's my last try to "persuade" the developer:
Sorry if I sounded pesky in my last comment. But I still think that an english name would make more sense to a larger audience...
For instance, I'm a Quicksilver user, and each time I try to remember the name of this (otherwise awesome app), I fail miserably. Chipsellen?... no. Snipshells?... nope... and so on, so forth. :(
Since there are english program descriptions on the applications' website, why not also name>/b> the apps into something more comprehensible by the larger majority of your user base, which I'm sure, are in fact english speakers.
Just my humble 2 cents. And I hope you don't take my advice as offensive. It's just something that I strongly believe, that, if you necessarily want to name an app in your own mothertongue; let it be a simple name, that preferably, either has some resemblance to an english word, or, at least contains very few letters, that are not too complicated to learn. I'm sorry to say it, but I can't seem to find Schnippselchen (or many other apps from MyOwnApp (there, an english word!) to fit within that exception either...
Last but not least. Thanks for creating splendid applications!
Comment and replies on Shuffle Desktop:
Good idea for 90% of the app, but downloading things from their wallpaper-RSS feeds is kinda buggy & very slow (could be the hosts there, though), and eats up a ton of processing power when it changes the background. No clue why. I'd love to see a correctly-implemented similar application, but oddly enough I haven't run across any yet.
My personal favorite BG app lately has been Wallpaper Clocks. Small processing, & makes my desktop useful.
Well... It seems to me that the version is wrong again...
It's 1.2.5b3 (one dot two dot FIVE beta three) and not 1.2.3b3 (one dot two dot THREE beta three).
Comment and replies on Point of View:
Fun puzzle game. The view-centering is a bit buggy at times (jumps around until it finally settles), and it's a bit slow to render, but definitely fun and fairly brain-wracking, especially the last puzzle.
Last puzzle kept me busy for 1/2 hour, but unfortunately the whole thing only took me ~3 hours while watching TV (30 puzzles, 3 difficulty levels). I think really well spatially, though, and you can settle into a rhythm after a while (2nd hour) that lets you cruise through these things.
Great puzzle game. Could use more levels though.
Hope there will be more of this genre.

Yargh. Leopard only :\ The screencast they made of the screencasting software looks phenomenal, I must admit. Very well thought-through, useful features.
Any testimonials to its speed?
