If you use an iPhone or an iPod Touch, this is the Reader to go. Just sync to Newsgator online and check your feeds via http://m.newsgator.com. Sweet.
Please disregard my comment, below. I didn't think.
Please bear no mind to my previous comment, I was still fuming from my misadventure. That, and was in rotten mood. I should have waited a while to cool off, and communicate with the developer via the Customer Feedback page (https://www.newsgator.com/feedback.aspx?product=netnewswire) to see if it's an issue which can be dealt with more efficiently.
Mod my previous comment down, to oblivion. I would, if I could.
it's really good it became free, I didn't use it before (I used Mail.app for rss) but NNW is probably RSS reader out there
download link is broken. It is the cat's ___ (literally). Here's the new one...

Comments and replies on Service Scrubber:
Essential app. Makes Services useful again.
Would this be safe to use in Leopard?
Works like a charm in my Leopard
You should be careful using this app, it can lead to problems with Apple Mail. Over at Leopard Tricks they reported about this.
1.1.4 fixes the problem with scrubbing protected system applications thus making them unusable.
Doesn't work on leopard - see their blog for an explanation. In a nutshell, you can no longer remove the entries associated to 'signed applications' - meaning that most apps can no longer have their entries customized. I tried it on my macbook and while on 10.4 I was able to remove almost everything, on 10.5 I could only remove 2 applications entries (out of 50+). Shame.
Comments and replies on Event Maker:
Great Tool. I use it together with LaunchBar:
Select E-Mail in Mail.app, select EventManager with LaunchBar, choose "New Event from Mail", save as iCal Event oder ToDo.
Like that I can enter future events outside of ICal. Because, ICal wants to regenerate the calendar for the date that the event or todo is due.
Comments and replies on 1Password:
I really don't know, what exactly 1Password does, but it does it well.
I love the fact, that it uses the apple keychain. Can't wait to fill in the first web-form with Information.
So far, one of the best purchases I ever made.
Definitely worth each cent. A really good investment. Just missing a counterpart for Windows™ - would be great to share these account data through multiple systems.
Changes from 2.4.9:
[NEW] Changed application name to 1Password.
[NEW] New and improved text-based internal keychain format.
[NEW] Added Wallet section to store credit card information.
[NEW] Added Sync to iPhone feature based on a special bookmark.
[NEW] Added support for syncing with the my1Password website.
[NEW] Folders can now be rearranged using drag-n-drop.
[NEW] Added folder selection to Save Form.
[NEW] Added menu commands for all features.
[NEW] Added new toolbar items.
[NEW] Items can now be deleted by dragging into the Trash folder.
[CHANGED] Improved look and feel of the main window.
[CHANGED] Changed section icons.
[CHANGED] Significant application performance improvements.
[CHANGED] Improved Fill with Identity feature.
[CHANGED] Greatly improved Fill with Credit Card feature.
[CHANGED] All generated passwords are now kept in the keychain (removed 100 last generated password limit).
[CHANGED] Improved Autosave to only prompt when there is no other web form with the same username and password.
[CHANGED] Changed to use the same set of folders for all object types.
[CHANGED] Replaced "Export as Property List" with "Export as a Web Page".
Known Issues:
- Export to iPhone becomes very slow when there are more than a few hundred items. When there are too many items decryption will sometimes fail.
- Firefox is missing Fill with Wallet and the Use Identity does not always work properly.
- Web forms listed in the Restore Form menu are not sorted by match strength.

Welcome to the Menu Bar. And time to rave about it's current state.
Apple has tried to rescue the menu bar from Applications with the introduction of OS X. They introduced little apps for the dock, like a Battery-Meter and a clock, but apparently they never caught on with neither users nor developers. Although menu bar items were officially depreciated in Apples interface guidelines, we are getting more and more of these every day. Bugger!
So, on my little MacBook, I can't see all the interessting/funny/informational/ stuff, that's in my menu bar, because there ist just not enough space.
Anyway, this little application is like a soothing patch for your sore eyes.
It soothes the pain and makes it easier to klick this little checkbox "Show in Menu Bar", that almost every little app comes with.
Thanks Patrick.
