I wish it felt a little more like a Mac app, but it's such an excellent IDE aesthetic preferences really don't matter.
this is the best,
I have used dreamweaver cs3 as well as this one and I think this app together with cssedit is the best combination to set up your site.
dreamweaver takes up way to many resources even on my brand new macbook pro with 2GB of internal mem.
this just runs like a breeze.

Absolutely my favorite chat program.
The best multiprotocol messenger ever and free!
It's been really buggy since the v1.0 and was starting to let me down.
Fortuantely, 1.0.4 is reallly good, one of the best apps ever!
My only complaint is that it tries to re-connect too early after the machine comes back from sleep. I always get an error message, and it does not retry after the wi-fi comes back up. I have to manually set myself back to available.
Always preferred this over iChat. I love the customization and stability lately.
Perhaps my favorite chat client on any platform. The fact that I can customize it so very much only sweetens the deal.
While Adium is quite an achievement, I still find it quite infuriating. No other IM client seems to drop connections/timeout as often as Adium. Showing of MSN custom emoticons and users' photos is intermittent. File transfers are painfully slow. Despite having numerous customisation options I just don't like the look/feel of it. Lack of video is a pity too. Adium is great - there is nothing that competes - but it's far from perfect.
@sleggat I've used Adium for close to 5 years now and haven't experienced the dropped connections that you speak of. However I must agree and say the file transfers are incredibly slow. So slow I don't even bother accepting them anymore.
They should just give us a better file transfer, then it would be perfect for my needs
Very customizable and reliable... also saves me from having multiple chat apps open at once.
There are a couple annoying things about it (when you paste in a link, you'll see the link text, but the other person will only see the URL, for one - especially annoying with Wikipedia), but overall it's a really nice app, and it's simplified my IMing a whole lot. Now I can be on 5 IM accounts with just 1 program!
This app totally rocks. Is there any chance they will include the google talk libraries for doing audio? Then I won't have to use iChat anymore!
Audio chat support won't come anytime soon. It was planned to lay down the foundations during this summer, but that project got cancelled:

Maybe next year.
Adium is fantastic. So customizable, so dependable, so subtle. And A/V might be enough to fend off the oncoming Trillian!

I love this app. I don't watch a ton of tv, which means the few shows I do watch I often end up missing episodes because my mind doesn't operate on a tv schedule the way it used to when tv ruled my life. With TVShows I've gotten back into a bunch of shows I used to like and had stopped watching, without having to worry about conflicts with my shows vs the roommate's shows or not being able to keep to the tv schedule.
