a little buggy in Leopard (has been crashing on me) but overall i've been really happy..
Comment and replies on Aqua4iTunes:
In Leopard, after installing it I'm unable to open iTunes due to supposedly not having enough memory. After uninstalling it, iTunes opened fine. Just a heads up.
Comment and replies on iMote:
I've been using this for a while and with good reason - it's just as responsive, feature-laiden, and unintrusive as synergy except that it's free.
This is a great app. The perfect way to control iTunes without switching to it.
Doesn't seem to work properly with Leopard. Disappears from status bar. I recommend ByteController.
Comment and replies on Synergy:
I've found that iMote does pretty much the exact same thing except for free.
I use You Control: Tunes. Similar, and free.
I use GimmeSomeTune, and it just rocks my world, with it's automatic cover fetching and a lot of features!
I recommend ByteController because its free.

iController for me (a freeware app).
One of the few that displays the track info in the menu bar (customizable) along with the usual hot keys features.
Bought and using this after I saw the podcast of it on macbreak.
Is anyone else having scrobbling issues with this?
apparently the server has been down today... the first day i try to scrobble with it lol
yeah. tried it today, and scrobbling still doesen't work. any suggestions?
Great app. I only really use the hotkeys and last.fm integration, but listening to iTunes at work wouldn't be the same without it.
A wonderful little app, well worth the cheap registration cost. As un-obtrusive as you want it to be. The plethora of skins for the menu-bar buttons is also a definite plus.
One of my FAVORITE utilities, up until Leopard... but the 3.5 dev versions are an unmitigated disaster.
Developer: ditch the new design, and just get the old version functioning in Leopard, while you still have a customer base left.

Since upgrading to Leopard, it's been freezing on me every so often...
