Very easy to use and it works as promised. A+
I've renamed over 1 gigabyte of photos in about 45 seconds!

I use this, but I wish it would it would get updated. It is powerful and free, but the counter does not reset automatically: I have to reset the sequential counter manually in the "Edit Styles" menu INSIDE the preferences. This is very clunky, but I put up with it because it does everything else beautifully.

You can also check out: http://osx.iusethis.com/app/metadatamover which provides a powerful Automator action to do renamings, you can use it in your photographic workflow very easilly.

From the website :

"[Limitation] There is no antialiasing : this limitation comes from Quartz Composer. It is now up to Apple to decide to fix it."

I use it. The only thing I'm missing is a setting to cap the framerate or a similar setting which allows to control how much cpu time FV uses - as of now, my PowerBook's fan is often working when I come back. Not at full capacity, but still - it is on.

Very nice, but the reflections are waaay too opaque. It looks more like a mirror than a wet floor.

Agreed, jrox. This widget is all I need for monitoring my system and external hard drives.

I don't like using widgets for monitoring because dashboard is too heavy to load, and when some application uses all the CPU, I can't even launch dashboard to see what's happening.
That why I use X Resource Graph, with a pretty nice theme.

This is one of the few widgets that I consider to be truly useful. Basically just a nice UI package that keeps you from having to launch Activity Monitor to see what's going on.

Though it's really good, I prefer MenuMeters over this. I like it, but I don't like having to load slow-as-hell Dashboard every time I want to see what's going on with my system. Hopefully Leopard will clean up Dashboard's code to remove it's memory-hoggedness.

This widget is so good, Apple should consider bundling it and giving the author something in return. Love it.

One of the best Trek screen savers I've seen for the Mac.

SuperDuper is rock solid and creating custom backup scripts is the icing on the cake.

Good app, but allow and hour or two to create your original clone on a firewire external hard drive. Smart update of the original clone then takes about 6 minutes on my machine. The time it takes will depend on the amount of data you are backing up.

Another advantage with SuperDuper! is that it does an excellent job of defraging your hard drive - you get two programs for the price of one - check out their web site for details.
