I agree with jarosia. Fortunately I am using it as a general log for my sleeping habits, mood etc. On my Symbian phone I had Nokia Wellness Diary, which is the best app for such things I have ever found. Optimism is the only one that does a similar thing, as far as I have found.

I want to really like this app, but i cant seem to put in recurring payments like rent which is really annoying!
I enjoy using squirrel. Its reporting features are not quite as robust as I would like, but overall, is a very slick app.

Really cool app, its really unique in creating graphics!

Looks really cool, until i realized you HAD to create an account to use the desktop software.. im assuming the recognition software is serverside, ... too big brotherish for me. Is that why its free?
I don't think the program itself is better than Yojimbo or Together(I own both).
But I'm using this instead of others because
1) I can get to my stuff from anywhere because it sync to web server.
2) text recognition
I used this for a while, even paid for the extra storage. But it got too sluggish for me, too slow to enter new notes. Tagging files with Leap, and using Together for notes is working out better for me.
I find it a bit sad, because I like the concept, and the creator has a nice philosophy, but the two killer features, online syncing and text recognition aren't that useful to me.

EASILY blows it away, i couldnt even get Remote Desktop 3.0 to work on this domain, cord worked first go, woo!
Comment and replies on ToolPlayer:
would be cool if the site didnt timeout for australian ip's (at least mine) and there was a playlist, then i'd ditch itunes for this
Nice toy if you just need a simple music player without media library. Useless if not. Sound effects might be cool at first, but they're simply not useful.
If you only want to play music works perfectly. A great way to avoid the "memory eater" iTunes.
its nice small app, really like it, but only thing is- I cant find the way how to see playlist, it doesnt seem to have that option to see whole playlist, you just see current song :(
Handy player for those files you want to listen to before you add them to iTunes.
And it's also an excellent (and fast!) audio formats converter. The latest versions include LAME to convert to MP3.
Very nice interface too.
ToolPlayer is getting better and better with every new version.
great for playing flacs i accidently.. erm. acquire. and with a built-in mp3 converter, i'll have them into my ipod in a jiffy.
lovely app indeed.....
The only things I miss is Last.fm and iWow!!!
It would be nice if the player window could be made as small as Itunes' minimized mode. The current height is quite important imho.
Been using this for a few days as I don't have my external hard-drive with full iTunes library plugged in. I love it! Sure, they could add playlists and a bunch of other features, but I don't think I'd like it as much. It's small, fast and hasn't crashed or stuttered once. I donated via their website.
Comment and replies on Google Notifier:
pain to install, i hate downloading installer app's(especially when the end product is 500kb!) , doesnt have support for multiple account's.
at least their search is good :P
Latest version (1.9.100) apparently defaults to an acceptable security level, finally. It is highly recommended to use a secure http connection (https) when accessing a web-based mailbox.
Besides that, works lovely and simply, with all needed options in the preference pane. Installer is of an unconventional nature though, which could irritate a certain type of user.

Im no psychologist but i do know abit about rational emotive behavior therapy, and its probably not a good thing to imply ownership of the person acting depressed.
I think this could be a good idea if the app didnt reinforce that "you are depressed, lets track how depressed you are"
