Comment and replies on DesktopLyrics:
looks pretty cool but the program crashes when i try to start it on my PPC iBook with OSX 10.4.11
I sent a bug report to the programmer. Hopefully they can fix it
I also use desktop lyrics for an interesting side effects. It has only two entries on the
top toolbar so for once I can see all the applets on it.
Comment and replies on Little Snitch:
@aeko you can deactivate it if you want
you can't buy the full version via paypal and the support says it works - for me not
This program rendered my computer unable to connect to the internet in one fell swoop, even after I uninstalled the program. Tech support was kind but unhelpful. Definitely not getting this program.
I love this app. When you first install it, it will be annoying because it'll go off whenever you do anything, but if you are patient enough to deal with it for a week or so, the alerts will settle and you'll learn to love the security of knowing when your computer is phoning home.
Comment and replies on NicePlayer:
I love this app. But still their are some bugs.
I hope they continue make this app better.
I just found this app. It is exactly what I was looking for in a movie player. Tested an Xvid avi and it works fine out the box. MKV did not work tho - I'll try the plugins. I remember when VLC used to display the movie like this - ie with no border, it is much nicer this way. I intend to use this for all my movie watching now, with VLC as backup for those obscure codecs. Looks like this'll be the next hot movie player on the mac - or maybe the first one ;)
3 Reasons to use the NicePlayer:
- frameless movie window
- the "always on top" Option
- good with subtitles
...and it's free!
It'd be so cool if there was some plugin for Safari that opened this to play a streaming quicktime video alone in it's own borderless window.

would be better with min size.
Sometimes when the lyrics getting long it is too small.
