Comment and replies on Skitch:
I've been using Skitch since MacWorld 2007. It's an amazing app and I use it nearly every day. If you are active online it is THE best way to share photos, screen grabs, images you've discovered, etc. If you find something you want to share just drag it to Skitch, mark it up how you'd like, click upload and paste the result where you want it to appear.
I can't believe I used to post without using Skitch. I can get my point across in exactly the way I want to. I feel so much more active and so much more expressive.
I LOVE SKITCH! I use it at work to capture and annotate UI defects in our applications. I use it at home to add images to my blog posts. I tell my friends and coworkers about Skitch constantly, and I can't wait for the general release. Hoping for full-page capture (with scrolling) one day!

I was just debating the need for anything more than print screen and Photoshop on Windows. I got a Mac recently and my friend told me to give Skitch a try (and sign up for the beta) and I have say I'm converted--Skitch is awesome!
Anybody knows the price after Skitch gets out of Beta?
(Maybe the developer could give us that information...)
I love everything about Skitch. Yet another perfect app to make pc users feel envy.
I have only one feature request:
- Option to automatically add icon thumbnails for the pictures you drag to the Finder.
Skitch has definitely broken the mold where it comes to Apple's UI guidelines, and yet I don't seem to mind. My greatest feature request is a default setting for the cursor so I can stop undoing accidental drawing on my images.
I upload a lot of screenprints to mySkitch so that they don't clutter up my Flickr photostream, especially since I've set no downloading for anyone on Flickr. Skitch's webspace comes in handy for those few images I do want the public to have access to the original sized image.
It's a handy resizer and image converter, too, and it is now my default Quick Add Drop Shadow application, superceding ImageWell. I can not say enough nice things about Skitch.
@adidas... I don't think Skitch was ever meant to be a bulk uploader to Flickr. plasq should continue to keep things simple. Flickr's got an Organizr for tags and titles.
At first I didn't really get it, but skitch has totally changed my life. If you work on any kind of web development, you need this tool!
p.s. give it a chance, you get used to the whacky UI.
I love Skitch!!! It is so useful. After reading about it from Lifehacker.com, you will not be able to go one day without using it. Each and every day, I use it. Whether I need a simple screen shot or just need to put some simple text on a photo. Also, it lets you upload super fast.
Skitch is recommended.
This is one of the greatest apps! I LOVE IT! Nothing more to say... :-)
Comment and replies on Keywurl:
I'm surprised this plugin has just 25 users.
It gives adds a function to Safari that I missed for a long time. With keywurl you can just type a keyword and a search term into your address bar, and you'll be redirected to the site you want to search. E.g. I can type "wiki safari" and I will be redirected to the wikipedia article.
In my opinion this is the easiest and most efficient way to use search engines. Especially since Safari by default supports just a google search and no other search engines.
I love this app!
Agreed, this plugin is absolutely brilliant.
This combined with Inquisitor has made Safari my favourite browser
I love this. I was using Sogudi before. This is even better, more to the point. Brilliant plugin which I can't live without since I do most of my surfing with Safari these days and just use Mozilla Firefox now and then.
finally a plugin that brings a feature of the Konqueror under Linux to Safari. Thanx a lot for this great plugin!
Comment and replies on DesktopLyrics:
looks pretty cool but the program crashes when i try to start it on my PPC iBook with OSX 10.4.11
I sent a bug report to the programmer. Hopefully they can fix it
I also use desktop lyrics for an interesting side effects. It has only two entries on the
top toolbar so for once I can see all the applets on it.
Comment and replies on DataPlot:
I think the program has been renamed to DataGraph, but else it seems to be still the same:

To me this is the best calculator widget. It is easy to use and looks nice but it has powerfull features such as defining variables and a history.

I though about havin such an app for a while. now let's try how it works.
Page 1 of 12. 223 entries.

nice program. It's a great idea. Especially the built in sharing function. I guess it will be a great help to explain stuff and share ideas.
However I agree to the previous post. The user interface is extremly akward. I don't like it. It feels more like a flash game than a proper application. I would love to see it with a real mac carbon interface.
Also when cropping the image you're automatically resizing the window. Somehow that takes up to much computing power and the frame doesn't move smooth when I crop.
anyway. Excellent concept and nice app.
