This app has a lot of potential as a free replacement for CoverSutra. It only needs more polishing on the interface.

It only seems to show the artwork about 2/3 of the time, even in files where the artwork is in the file. I haven't spotted a pattern but I'm guessing that it only shows artwork in iTunes database of artwork, not when it's embedded in the mp3 file. Not so nice if much of your collection consists of recordings that aren't on iTunes.

it has a search feature in Leopard but there doesn't seem to be any way to act on the results ....they're listed but you can't play them :(

TotalTunes Control phones home with update checking turned off. No thanks.

This has changed to shareware ($8). I didn't appreciate that the last update started demanding money without giving an option to stick with the last free version.

Don't upgrade to 2.2.3 It's now shareware :( Time to look for a free alternative or go back to using my CoverSutra

I switched to CoverSutra a few versions back when the MacHeist came out -- see comments there -- this program was using 10%+ of CPU when idling, comparing to <1% for CoverSutra.

Toast is an overpriced piece of bloatware. Burn should cover almost all your recording needs, and is free and open source. Another nice option is Disco, but is a commercial application. Both are easy to use and lightweight.

Expensive but great. Used Burn for a while, but it doesn't do nearly as many things as Toast. I bought it when I had to shrink DVDs.

I'm still running Toast 7. When I bought it, it was the only application that supported my external burner. The price is steep, the feature set is limited. But I use Toast almost daily. It's a universal tool: burn disks from images, create images, create DVDs from EyeTV recordings, create ISO disks for universal acces on all platforms, ... Toast 7 just works. Nothing fancy, but useful.

Unfortunately I get the dreaded hardware error on lead-outs on all my DL media using either my MBP internal or my LG external DVD-R drive...Disco doesn't burns them just fine

Suttfit Expander is useless right now. The Unarchiver works better and faster, plus is open source and reliable. Please, don't use this program so the sitx compression format dissapears forever and for the good of the humanity.

Installed; hated it, uninstalled 5 seconds later. Leaves horrible scars on your machine, had to download an Automator action to wipe it!

Seems bloated.
Opens an extra window each time I open an archive, progress bar is purely fictional. Not a good tool imho
