Great little program, very small and simple to use.
Arg, this one doesn't show Latitude/Longitude either!

I finally figured out what it's all about, and it's pretty cool. Quite a handy app.
Now whenever i get on someone else's mac, i get frustrated that they don't have quicksilver installed.
I wish Apple would license it from them and pre-install it in 10.5
....if anything, they'd just steal the idea though. :P
QUICKSILVER is the-ish!
At first, was reluctant to use this because I had bought Butler, but it kicks every inch out of Butler, Launchbar, iTerm and Spotlight combined! Great app that really helps productivity and launching, while retaining ease of use. Worth the buzz!
It's the app that never stops suprising me, with hidden treasures of ingenuity. And hell, even if you don't use the advanced features, it's a super neat launcher :)
this is the first app you should install after the system
This app is AMAZING, once you get used to it, you'll wonder how you ever did with out it, and you will miss it on all your non Macs.
One of the best utilities ever.
I love this app. I install this on every Mac I use. I just feels wierd using a computer without it. Prolly my number one app for productivity.
I love this app, but for some reason it consitently caused my computer to crash. I had to uninstall it. It pained me.
Next to Growl, Quicksilver is the MUST MUST have install on every mac.
Like most other commenters, I love this application, and it has so completely infiltrated the way I use my Mac, I feel hamstrung when I have to sit at someone else's computer. My favorite plug-ins: the Network Locations Module (change my network settings with a keystroke) and the del.icio.us module (all my del.icio.us links are stored in the catalog and can be launched directly form the keyboard). Definitely read some of the web articles cited here to get an idea of just how much this app can do.
some people are saying QuickSilver is one of the best apps for Mac...
WRONG
it's THE BEST / MOST USEFUL app for Mac
Sorry, but I just don't get this.
Open an app? Put the apps folder in the Dock, hold it to pop it up, open the app you want.
Use an app often? Put it in the Dock.
What am I missing here?
Perhaps I haven't given Quicksilver a fair shake, but I forget it's even installed most of the time. I guess I'm happier with Apple's built in UI.
While this app isn't for everyone, it IS for everyone who wants everything their computer can do at their fingertips. It's the power of a comand line interface, with the ease of a beautiful GUI.
Quicksilver is arguably the most full featured app in the launcher category and I can see why it appeals to so many people. The plugin architecture and active developer community are great. And you can't argue with "free".
But I still like LaunchBar better. Believe me, I've really tried to like Quicksilver. I've installed it at least a half dozen times but have always come to the same conclusion: nice features but otherwise unintuitive, inefficient, gaudy, and sometimes unstable. By comaprison, LaunchBar feels absolutely effortless, unobtrusive, and reliable.
I'll still keep an eye on Quicksilver though. It has a lot of potential.
I consider any computer that doesn't have Quicksilver installed to be broken.

I love this program. It's great for making hoaxes, especially about new apple products (realistic metadata makes them so much more believeable).
