Actually, I goofed: there IS a free trial of this product. But only of the Pro version (which has even more fine-grained control than this version...but is also more expensive). The download page for the free trial is here: http://bias-inc.com/downloads/freeTrials/ I missed it initially because I was looking for the trial version of SoundSoap 2, not Pro.
