Comments and replies on Times:
I really like this RSS reader. The way I see it, this isn't an RSS reader for those who want to read every little article, but for those who just browse headlines and such; wanting just to keep up with what's going on rather than reading up on the details. Good idea and well implemented. As for the crashing issues, I haven't been running into them, but I've been barely been using it.
For my own personal use, I'd just use NetNewsWire for all of the feeds that I want to read all the way through and Times for feeds on subjects that I'm not as interested in, but would like to know about (Politics, Entertainment, etc...).
Note: I haven't bought the app, but I probably will at some point in the future.
This app has a great user interface, but is lacking in functionality. A very promising app though. Looking forward to future enhancements. Until then, I will save my $$ and use one of the free RSS readers.
30 bucks for an RSS reader? Even if it would make coffee along with it that's too much, considering what it does. And it'll have to compete with the now free NetNewsWire. 15 bucks and I would probably consider it, once it's out of its growing pains.
Great interface and nice functionalities.
but this thing is still very much in Beta state. It crashes repeatedly, not just the program but twice brought down my macbook. You can file as many bug reports but the developer never replies.
My recommendation - WAIT for version 2.
Definitely doesn't deserve $30 for what it is.
Comments and replies on PithHelmet:
2.8.3 is now available and it works with the latest version of Safari.
"Delete cookies on exit" still doesn't work properly and the author isn't responsive to emails.

I can invite people. Send me an email to rbrimhall at gmail dot com
Unbelievably awesome service. I can't get enough of this thing. If anyone would like a private beta invite I think I have one left.

Comments and replies on Evernote:
Ok, I've been vocal about my disdain for beta apps on iusethis.com... but I have 10 invites to Evernote right now and for those that want one send me an email to rbrimhall at gmail dot com.

Download no longer available.
If anyone is looking for it, a download is still available here:

I've been looking for something like this for months!!! Especially good full screen (hide the dock and menubar by hand, or with PresentYourApps)
Comments and replies on To Do Widget:
It just reads your iCal/Mail to dos. Works fine for me. I like it.
I use Anxiety for my desktop & main 'To-Do' list (adding/checking off etc.)
But because this widget (& Anxiety) syncs with ical, they are all updated together. I do like the looks of this one on my Dashboard, & prefer the look of Anxiety on my desktop. Best of both worlds I guess.
works splendid
It works fantastic. It is super fast and responsive. Because it integrates with Mail, it can actually sync to dos across multiple computers if you are using an IMAP account.
2.0 is "snappy" and responsive, and I love the iCal and Mail integration. Mail is always open but hidden, and I don't often use iCal, so it's great to have my To Do's at my fingertips.
The only noticeable bug I've encountered is that rarely it will refuse to select anything at all, even after jumping to and from the "i" preference pane; not exactly worrying, and easily fixed with a Cmd+R, but a bug nonetheless. Great widget.
Comments and replies on Anxiety:
@danwarne: didn't mean to be so snarky in my comment (I am now being modded down for it). I really don't understand your comments though.
As for Anxiety, this is a terrific way to get a quick look at your to dos. It's fast, sleek, and nice and shiny. I actually very rarely use priorities in my tasks so that limitation doesn't bother me. I see this as more of a quick look for to dos. I like it.

It does LOOK good but it crashes repeatedly.
