B52 is a dev release. You can enable prerelease candidates in the version checking in the app if you turn on advanced features, and you can also download the latest dev release with http://www.getqs.com/dev. That said, it is a dev release, so download at your own risk.
Note: when installing it says that the beta will stop working after 6 months. I haven't had the time to search to know what it will become then, does anyone know?

Anyone know what happened to blacktree.com? Reinstalled Quicksilver but have no plugins and no updates. Seems the server has been down for the past few days.

so no word yet on when they're going to be back up and running? i downloaded QS from a mirror, but without being able to install any plugins, it's not nearly as useful.

After using this app for several weeks with the Constellaton plug-in, I truly am a believer in Quicksilver.

Wish Arne & Marcus could put up an "I love/hate this" button. Sure, Quicksilver is pretty nifty. It also is the most likely offender whenever my computer starts behaving badly. Today Safari started hanging on what a sample revealed to be an ABAcquireFileLock call. After a while I noticed Mail was hanging as well, with the cryptic message "searching for sender's image" in the activity window.
Looking in the Console I noticed the error "Couldn't reopen AddressBook database. Home directory may not be ready or is missing" was repeated every second. It took some time googling (on Firefox, since Safari wouldn't start) before I found this article naming Quicksilver as the culprit. Killing with extreme prejudice solved the situation. From now on I think I'll stick to Butler which does 99% of the same thing without the hassle.
Pressing Cmd-Space and having Spotlight pop up now feels just wrong. Quicksilver integrates itself into every process of your Mac if you want it to, and it feels like another part of the OS. Couldn't live without it; trust me, I tried.
LaunchBar also allows you to send files in e-mail to people and browse your iTunes library directly.
Am I the only one who likes Butler more than Quicksilver?

I wouldn't download b52. http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/ has been hacked recently, plus it says b51 is still the most recent one. As well, QS' internal update mechanism doesn't tell me about b52. My advice: DON'T! I will ask in the QS forum first.
