Clicking link doesn't work with Google Apps version of Gmail. Also, it would be nice if I could choose another application besides Camino and Safari to open the email. I use Gmail Standalone which serves as its own executable browser.

What function does this play when you have Time Machine?

Great application and even better crash plan central staff. They are simply the best!
I highly recommend this app if you're in the market for a solid backup plan.

Does this make bootable backups? Can't find that on the site. I would love a Leopard-friendly replacement for Super Duper.

This is a fantastic piece of software. I downloaded it, installed it, configured my notebook to backup to my other Mac and everything just works perfectly.

Best backup I have used so far for my MacBook Pro. I have tried Mozy and JungleDisk as well, and this one works by far the best.
My Favorite points
-Runs as daemon so gets out of your way
-Does binary diffs...even if you move/rename files. Therefor it always uploads the minimum amount of data.
-Backup to multiple places at the same time

Allot of the commands don't work for me. Says I need to paraphrase?? I don't get it - its just a big list of commands. I prefer a nice GUI.

Some commands require you to Sudo first from the edit menu. Maybe that's what's going on?

A Dialog pops up telling you that a terminal window is going to appear, and that you should input your password, except your typing will be invisable. After I typed in my password, I got a beach ball that wouldn't go away. Finally, I got a dialog that said something about applescript timeout. I had to trash this program.

I like the simplicity of this app very much, and the interface is quite intuitive and fun to use. If you need something more complicated, I do recommend Toast. Also, 'smoke' does not work currently on Macbooks. Developer says they are working on it.

Have burned 10 discs with no coasters. Fast, easy, and fun way to create discs.

All the people saying they will stick with finder fail to understand that this app does more then just burn. Lets say you drop in a folder with 20 gigs of photos or mp3's it will just work and organize them on several discs for you. Find can not do that. This app will catalog them. Finder will not do that. I wish finder would do that.

But on the other hand I do not understand why they would make you pay for an app that is still beta. It still has bugs. But after I change to burn speed from maximum possible to what the disc called for, it worked like a charm.

When this app goes 1.0 it will be great, not toast great, but it will be much cheaper. Who wants to pay $80 for a burning program? Not me, Disco will work just fine.

A good thing I payed less than £2.50 for it. It's cute, but Disk Utility does a whole lot more. The disc spanning is possible the only useful tool.

Add image mounting with support for NRGs and it'll be good v.f.m.

Still can't understand what's so special about this app. Sure, it has a good-looking interface, but I think this must be not the first goal of an application...
Give a try to the free LiquidCD or Burn, do much more for much less. Then you can spend the 15 bucks on something more useful.

I like its ability to index the listings of files that were burnt - makes it so much easier to locate what has been backed up where later on! Disc spanning is also another plus.

The cool "smoking" animation when burning discs doesn't hurt either!

Just a fancy, overhyped GUI wrapper for the Disc Burning framework. Major features? It shakes when your laptop's motion sensor goes off. It has 'cool smoke effects'. It has a half-assed disk spanning utility.

For a free alternative, try Burn instead. http://osx.iusethis.com/app/burn

Personally I like Toast for rock-solid stability, maximum utility, and speed, but it has a hefty price tag.

Beautiful interface.
Bells and whistles.
Nothing special whatsoever (except disc spanning maybe)
Waste of Money.
