check out scribbles... it's got layers, infinite scalability, intuitive controls and about $10 cheaper
Comment and replies on PDFMergeX:
I'm fairly sure you can do all of this in Preview already.
Comment and replies on Cooliris:
pretty damn cool
NB: latest version is 1.8.0.
This app is already registered twice:
- once for the Firefox version (387 uses)
- once for the Safari version (12 uses)
Having separates entries for the Firefox and Safari versions makes senses, because they have different features and aren't always updated on the same time.
This entry, however, looks like a duplicate and should be merged with the Firefox version entry imho.
Very nice app... but terribly slow down Safari.
Sometimes when I browse a flash site with Safari, and every time I relaunch Safari, WindowsServer takes 100% of cpu for seconds.
Once removed everything is ok (have the same behavior even on a fresh install).

Comment and replies on Cha-Ching:
I got this as part of the last MacHeist bundle so I gave it a try... thumbs down. Very counter intuitive, lacking in features, no even simple "get started" guide. Pretty much crap. Tried out IBank which I am now LOVING.
I was an early adopter as well and expected a slightly quicker development pace as the app has potential. I have two licenses for Cha Ching that I am looking to sell (one early license and another license as a MacHeist purchase - both will qualify for v. 2.0). I am not running Leopard, so I will not be able to use 2.0 when it comes out, plus I am a starving student with no money to keep track of.
Looking to sell both of my licenses. $10 for the first person to respond, $15 for the second person to respond - both good deals.
Respond here with your email or email me: crentistthedentist@gmail.com
I'm selling my license as well - send your offers to ch-ch@alpenjodel.de.
I'm a big fan of mint.com, and found it hard to transition to a non-web-based app. But, when I'm offline, something has to be used, and that something is Cha-Ching. It does most of what I want and looks pretty (honestly, the look of an app is 70% of why I support it). I too got this from MacHeist! & I'm not selling my license! (:
If anyone's looking for a license, I'd be happy to exchange my one (MH) to a book from betterworld (~$10). /sacrat+nospam@gmail.com/
I've never managed to use the application anyway.
Comment and replies on Pzizz:
pzizz is the shnizz. provides for amazing power naps. I usually can NEVER nap, but this app puts me down like a warm puppy and a bowl of milk.
I never would have tried it if I hadn't got it free thru MDA, but I am glad I did. I have since paid for it and I have used it regularly for over a year.
One thing about it that I hate though - the alarm. It is too loud and too obnoxious. With so much customizability for the rest of the nap, it's surprising that there isn't volume control for the alarm.
Comment and replies on Default Folder X:
I seriously cannot imagine using my Mac without this, it's become that essential. The addition of the preview pane (to make up for Apple's lackluster preview) is a godsend, and the ability to add spotlight comments in the save dialog rocks. Oh yeah, and you can trash things right from the open or save dialog.

works like a charm.

I really wanted to like this app... but it's buggy and slow. And EVERY single time I try to use the eraser tool, it crashes.
