I wouldn't say its a waste, the interface is very slick and you can even combine searches like 食/た for specific combinations etc. Startup time is slow however and I question whether the interface is worth the $30 if it's using free dictionaries.

Provoc has been retired and is no longer being developed or supported however this source is now available under the BSD license from the website.

Works great with finder too by dragging /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app onto Pseudo. :)

Great app but has some ui bugs, especially when switching between external monitors and arranging tabs.

Love this app to death.
