Hi. My name is Andrew, and I'm a former synergy user. It worked great once it was set up, but could be a pain to set up. Teleport -- in the best tradition of the Mac -- just works. The GUI is the way this kind of app should work. Also, I love, love, love the drag and drop of files across machines.

I've had freezing bugs since I installed it. But when it works (most often) it is simply VERY USEFUL.

Wow! I've been using Synergy for a couple years, but it's a little screwed up in Leopard. I just found Teleport. It's not cross-platform like Synergy, but as a Mac-only user that doesn't matter to me. Teleport is way easier to setup and use, and drag and drop of files across Macs is amazing!

I'm a big fan of skEdit, as you can see from this blog post: http://www.clearwired.com/loop/archives/23-skEdit,-The-Mostly-Perfect-Text-Editor.html

I really like skEdit as well and I have been using it for a while now. I've been getting frustrated with it lately though because of a lot of problems, most notably incorrect code highlighting, CSS auto-complete sometimes fails, and updating of files on a remote server (when editing them directly) does not work even though it appears that it does. I was using it on my computer at work recently for a couple of projects, which runs on 10.3.9, so I don't know if that has anything to do with all this.

With that said, I'm looking forward to the next version!!

I love his piece of software because it has Movable Type code hinting.

skEdit is the best value on the market today in terms of text editors. I love how it's simple and unintrusive, but powerful. skEdit 4.0 improves on an already successful formula, and at $35 it's a steal.

The only editor that compares is Coda, IMO. Coda's a bit more polished and complete, but more than twice the price. For that reason, skEdit is still my mainstay. I recommend it to any web developer.
