The home page is not entropy.ch. That's someone else's similar product.

I've used this program without issue for about 5 months but suddently it's constantly giving me "failed connection" errors whilst command line FTP works fine.

Is there a way to move a file from a remote folder to a local folder in one step? I tried dragging and cutting a file, but it didn't work.

This is getting progressively slower and less reliable (for me) with every version. Shame, as its the only Mac FTP client with a reasonable interface (at least until Flow is released).

I moved to MacFusion. That one covers my (S)FTP needs better than Cyberduck.

One of the best ftp clients ive used, the interface is intuitive and easy to use.

It works perfectly, it has a great interface ......... and it's free. The only thing I don't like about this app is that it's Icon is not 512X512 for Leopard. So I made a periodic table icon for it (like the CS3 ones). Is there any way I can upload it on iusethis???¿¿¿

It used to work, but now it's getting slower and slower and gives lot of timeout problems other clients don't have.

Probably this is a problem that is going to be solved, but by now I'm forced to look for other clients.

My last experiences with Cyberduck were quite frustrating (timeout problems, huge load of RAM), but now I must admit the new version (cyberduck 3 3966) works like a charm.

Suggesting adding the tag: S3 to this entry.

I want to like Cyberduck but it doesn't quite work that well for me. It seems to take forever to get the directory list from my server (served via Cerebus) when Transmit does not. Also it just seems slower connection wise as well. For example, if I am download multiple files in succession there is a far greater pause between files with Cyberduck. It might be that Cerebus likes Transmit better for some reason though.

I used to love it, but now I'm having to buy Transmit instead. Cyberduck crashes constantly these days which is really inconvenient when i have several files open for editing. Also, if it fails while uploading a file, I end up with an empty file on the server. Yikes!

Works great for me. I use it almost daily. I use it with Smultron and CSSEdit. Never crashes. At this point I can't see why I would pay for an FTP program.

Try MesaSQLite, it's not free but it doesn't nag. In fact, the only way I found out it wasn't free was by looking up the home page to list it on here.

I bought a copy of this a few weeks ago, and it's a pretty solid app. Much better than SQLite Database Browser.

This app looks nice but 39 USD is way to much. The sqlite-manager Firefox extension (http://code.google.com/p/sqlite-manager) does the same.

Ugh, screwed the comment up below, please mod it spam. Here it is corrected:

Oh in the comment below, I've assumed you're following the instructions from wombert's link below. If you're not then use this command for the top-left key binding instead (it doesn't make a tidle on my mac):

defaults write com.apple.Terminal VisorHotKey -dict keyCode -int 10 modifiers -int 256

You can just press any key in the visor preferences with a modifier key, then open the correct preference file (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.VisorTerminal or com.apple.Terminal as appropriate) with Property List Editor and change the VisorHotKey/modifiers value to 256 to remove the need to press the modifier key more than likely, if you wanted a different key.
