It takes AGES to load on my Intel-powered Mac because it's a PowerPC application and has to be emulated under Apple's Rosetta. Though this happens automatically, the app takes longer than others to start up and functions slower too. Please release a Universal Binary, eMusic!

There is a developer version (universal binary) available at http://developer.emusic.com/

The newest version (4.0) is now Mozilla Firefox-based, and comes in Universal, PowerPC, and Intel flavors.

What a fantastic app! Beats WriteRoom over the head.

The downloadable file is not easy to find in the page to where this link leads. (I could not find it there.)
But if you download directly from this page in iusethis.com, you'll get it.
And now that WriteRoom is no longer free, this a great alternative.
(I know that the free version 1.0 of WriteRoom is still available. But, nevertheless, I prefer BlockWriter.)

Does anyone have a take on the disabled copy/paste concept in this application? Seems interesting, yet... strange. Back to the old days somehow. :)

i don't get it
has the application not been created yet (then it shouldn't be listed here) or are all the download links broken (and should be edited)?

NUUUUUUUUUUURSE!!!!!!!

I hate that the developer decided to start charging for WriteRoom. I actually helped popularise it when it was still free.

Would someone please tell me what's "not Leopard compatible" about this program? Aside from the bad choice of key bindings to go to full screen (something you only need to access once, from the menu), I can't see any problems with it.
