Mis-direction with regards to licence, it's like saying "bluetooth file exchange" these are intergrated in to OS X unlike the ilife packages. Dashboard is intergrated in the OS.

You could just as well had entered "OS X", itself, for this entry. Or maybe skipped it alltogether? :)

I used to be a big user of Dashboard and had it bound to an expose corner and packed with cool widgets. iCal events, google search, iClip lite, cyberduck upload, terminal, notes launcher, To Do Tracker, System Stats, trash monitor, and some custom hacks among other things. All were individually quite nice and useful, but put together they bogged down my whole system. I started with a shell script to restart the dock and thus kill dashboard; I would run this whenever Dashboard was lagging up my system. Eventually I wound up just disabling it completely via the widgets preference pane.

I haven't really missed it. Dashboard did little to actually help my productivity, as most of the stuff I was doing in widgets could be done in regular applications. However, the cool factor will always be appealing.

to all of you who are complaining that dashboard is included here, I'd remind you that the question is not whether you have dashboard (because then your right, everyone would have to vote for it) but whether you USE it. So actually, blu tooth file exchange should be on here as well I guess.

I have several phones that play mp3's from MS and SD cards. This lil app is the BEST way to manage a non-ipod with iTunes. Get it, use it, you'll be thankfull

This program is great! I use it with my Sony Ericsson Walkman-series mobile phone, and it lets me use iTunes with it the way iTunes should work. Without it, playlists are scrambled and the phone does all sorts of strange things with my music and video files.

All I need to do is create a playlist, and sync the play list and it just works. Even works with video files converted to mp4. I turn a DVD into individual files for each chapter, and use SyncTunes to transfer the playlist into my video folder. Without it, they are a jumble; with it, they just follow on one from the other.

There's a recent update of Version 2. (Confusingly, it retains the same version number.) Make sure you have the most recent version if you have any problems using it.
