Fast, simple and can browse different images within a folder with ease. It's really amazing that preview still can't do that. Compared to Xee for example I like the way windows are being placed: the top bar never changes its location.

Great app for when you're sick of Preview not being able to view those animated GIF's like you want them to.

Nice simple interface. Does one thing and does it well.

a surprisingly underrated/unknown little app. it flies through folders with thousands of images and opens high resolution images faster than preview (albeit with slightly less accurate color rendition and without anti alias). a simple, robust and fast replacement/expansion of preview's functionality.

Best newsreader for OS X. Small window, great UI and easy to use: just hit the space button! I also love smart feeds.

I prefer this to NetNewsWire, and I'll put up with all the phoning home and the dev's BS since it's such a great app.

I wish I could use this app, but it apparently has no Bloglines support (if I'm wrong, please correct me and let me know!) which makes it an utter impossibility to use.

Echoing shadowhound, I would use NewsFire if it had Bloglines support similar to NetNewsWire. (I use Blogines is because I have a PC at work.)

Not sure if it's worth the $18. I have my debit card ready, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I bought it, and let me say, I can't live without it now.

I'd like the ability to view password-protected blogs, but otherwise I like it a lot.

I really want to use this app, it's really attractive.

but I can't use just the keyboard to parse through feeds, and why is there no sorting by date --- or even meta info in the post-detail view? I'm going back to shrook, which is free and much better for me at the moment.

My old laptop doesn't have the extended screen space of some of the newer macbooks, so I love how Newsfire makes things work with a two-pane design, instead of three panes like Vienna, NetNewsWire, etc. I got used to the keyboard control and now I can't go back.

1.5 is out and NewsFire is now free, which sucks because I paid for lifetime upgrades...

I paid for newsfire which is now free and I do not use it. I LOVE Vienna which is also free works great and looks like a Leopard app. it is opensource free.
