Composer works a little better than standalone versions I've tried, like Nvu.

Eeew. If you're having trouble with sites demanding certain browsers, you can spoof your User Agent with Camino and this plugin:

Netscape 9 is coming soon. Based on Firefox 2.0 codebase.

guys, be a little easier on netscape. the easiest way to lure many a pc user away from internet explorer is by setting netscape as the default browser for their machine and encouraging them to just go with it, or being nice and helping them get used to it. netscape might not be your preference on mac, but it is a very useful tool in getting people on an overpriced inadequately secured os (windows) to start using and becoming acquainted with free, configurable and more than adequately secure software. i have helped many an unskilled windows user stay worlds more secure with netscape. uninformed windows users can be quite stubborn, i have met many of these types and the only web-browsers a lot of them have ever heard of are internet explorer and netscape (probably because those are the only two that came bundled with their pre-configured os), which means those are the only two browsers they would ever use, willingly. mention firefox, opera or kmeleon to your run of the mill windows user and they will have no freaking idea what those names refer to, seriously. so the quickest way to get them off i.e. is to set up netscape for them, and make it their default browser. i do not use it on my mac or on my windows machine, but it is free and it can be a big help. besides, don't any of you remember how fun it was to browse the web with netscape 4 on a system 7 mac!

this app is key in helping me reduce my stereo clutter. I can now run my turntable into my iMac's line-in, then run my iMac into the stereo, instead of reducing quality through RCA Y-cables.

Perfect for running a guitar FX box into my Mac and playing along to iTunes!

Font book is more free than fontexplorer! And it still helps me browse fonts quicker while using inDesign.

occasionally faulty--be sure to check your tags before you update, or you'll end up tagging something as Hendrix that just isn't Hendrix.

"Too bad it can't rename the mp3s acording to the tags... "

This is done by iTunes itself. Make sure you've got "keep iTunes Music folder organized" turned on. Then it will not only rename files, but also create/rename folders for artists and albums. Not sure you would like iEatBrainz to do this directly as it surely would screw up iTunes.

I really, really miss an option to browse the musicbrainz database and tag files manually by just clicking an icon, like you could with the old windows client.

The auto recognition often fails and then it's very cumbersome to look up and enter the album and track IDs by hand.

Crashes at startup on Leopard. Even looks like rosetta chokes up on it.

Seems like MusicBrainz is going to pull the plug on old (TRM-)clients like this one early januari. They cannot use the original music identification service anymore.

ieatbrainz has almost snuffed it, if you want to use musicbrainz on your mac you need to use either Picard or Jaikoz.
